Landed a temporary position for a small company out in Gaienmae. Went for the interview on the 11th and ended up being hired and working right there and then. It’s only a two to four hours a day but I am getting paid my train fare so I think it’s all right. Yesterday, I arrived a bit early so I took a walk around the vicinity.
love the dinosaur pole holders
loved it so much that I had to snap it twice!
sculpture caught my eye
didn’t know there was a friendship thing going on between Hungary and Japan
walked into an alley and saw this sign
and stores that are no more…
a store still surviving
I wonder how long it’s been in business and if profits are comfortable or barely keeping head over water.
took a look around and was surprised to see this sorry looking apartment building… one block away from the glitz … wonder how much the rent is…
those apartments above Peacock look in dire need of an update…
love the “greenery” on the second and third floors…
once again, loved it so much that I snapped it twice!
liquor store or bar…
a bar… guess a shot is 300 yen
trim your bangs plus have tea (drink and dessert of the day) for just 1500 with tax included
inviting sign, eh?
pottery store down the block from where I work.
The next day, I arrived a bit early again and took a walk around.
dawgs, dawgs, dawgs
just might check this place out
another place I might try
it’s Chinese Okinawan!
Prices aren’t bad
Mmmmm… Chinese food
Bailey Stockman… wonder what this store is selling
nice clear shot without traffic
love the calligraphy… must be the comic version in kanji!
